Most interesting. Two lines that express, and get the reader to question that expression. An expression that can be taken so many ways. But I think the dominate feeling I get is sadness, an overwhelming sadness... I'd like to know some of the inspiration to this one...

it came to me when i was finished writing soft slight grass... i tried to finish but i couldnt. its just what it is and i couldnt change it. the inspiration would take more analyzation of myself...that im not ready for at the moment.

thank u, though. maybe later i will be brave enough to venture in depth.

i always say, "who needs poetry" and "no one likes poetry" and "poetry sucks" cause half the time it really does. half the time it just blows and that just brings me down. it gets boring or just tedious. sometimes so down or so uplifting that it makes me sick. sometimes so unoriginal and so complex. sometimes it just sucks.

and then there's this.

this brings it back into its true character and gives us hope, cause this is art. that's what poetry should be. but often poetry is not art,- its bullshit.... but this is art.
i'm sorry if i'm overglorifying one piece of work... i really shouldn't do that, but it really represents all the good pieces of work out there, on this board, on other boards, in people's minds, notebooks, floppy disks, journals, canvases, tapes, cds, voices, words, conversations, looks and everything all in it... yes... that's it.. you see this is art to me and i love it. art is magnificent and sorrowful and engulfing. this is art. art is wonderful and terrible... maybe even hurtful... - that's art. that's it. this is it. yes. this represents somethings in its simplicity.. that's why i can talk so much about it... cause in reality...there isn't much to say about this piece... its short and simple enough to just let it be... so what i'm really saying is about all art.. all good art. its worth doing and wasting time on all bad art to get to the good. its worth living through all that shit to get to a warm smile at the end of a line and laugh from the crowd... a hush in the audience... a screaming fan hurdling off stage and its worth it to me. once again - this is not all about this piece. this piece is great but this is about all good art.... yes. yes. good art is a good thing and yes!
